Why dance is the best form of exercise!

When I was a child and came out of dance class my mom always said I was so at peace! It is where my soul felt content.  As an adult it sometimes gets hard to find time to dance but now I know that when I dance I feel more content and the Lord is more content with me.  We are made in his image...  What we feel and sense is what he too feels and senses. When we are one with the body of Christ of course!

Five Reasons why Dance is the best exercise:

1. Improve Flexibility - Helps with stiffness, soreness and in return helps to release toxins

2. Reduce stress - Dance can ease symptoms of feeling the blues. When you dance you focus on one thing which then takes your mind off of sad things!

3. Stay Fit - Dance builds lean muscle and muscle burns more calories then fat! Raises heart rate and improves metabolism.

4. Social Activity - Dance offer a great and fun way to bring people together! Why it is such a great past time for many events such as weddings! Makes you smile!

5. Increase Confidence - Dance is a great form of self expression. Offers a healthy way to express yourself. Provides an outlet to show yourself..  Different dance moves can represent your different moods.
